well having seen the "alex van" i was concerned as to why, i mean replace your 50 brake motor with a 55 brake motor, it just made no sense, however its not about that its what you want to do that counts, and if he is happy with it well so be it. however of all the diesel engines out there the scort van 1800 oil burner? FAIR PLAY!!!!!

OOOOOOOH dont tempt me mate sounds very interesting-if it will fit-not sure if I want to have a bulge out the back yet!

How big is it? size/BHP? I recon I want a 2lt or 2.5ltr tdi I want good fuel consumption but I also want to go fast uphills and I want to be able to cruise at 90+ the long cornwall to portsmouth drive need s to shortend!

How are you and hows your van going fella-did I hear that you have another van too now that you are moding? What are you gonna do with the v6 camper?

oh no i fear that you have let the cat out of the bag now, ive just taken stock of nos near side panel van slider and a couple of new front doors, a servo kit, to improve those anchors and a few other bits and bobs to finnish the resto. i have found a fellow to make a custom rad to fit in the back with my fixed drive fan idea, hopefully that should make the cooling alot less demanding on the kenlows, then long distance touring will be no problem

Me and my big mouth sorry dude. Glad that its getting tweeked though and she is still alive. I had the fear that something had happend to her!

Yer I've just got a porsche 944 servo and master cyclinder so I plan to get that fitted too. Are you keeping the front rad and loosing the two in the back in favour of one big rad in the back on direct drive fans? That should keep you super cool.

When do you aim to have it all plugged in?
