hi everyone this forum is my type of forum just a few pics of a pug 19 diesel i put in a bay on this pic i used a bug box to help make adaptor plate
this was one of my first atempts of a self made adaptor and it worked really well very smooth running i had a 10mm spacer made on lathe with a small dowel to centre the flywheel spot on and bolted the the flywheels together so all clutch fittings was standard the teeth on the vw flywheel are not used
i also made a pejero 2.5td fit into a splitscreen pickup

My conversion is very similar with the two flywheels bolted together with a layshaft support bearing in between, I've taken all the ring gear off the VW flywheel and lightened the Peugeot flyhweel by removing a lot of the centre metal, they now both bolted together doesn't weigh much more than the Peugeot flywheel did on its own originally.

this adapter looks a bit like the one fitted to rover 218 418 with pug power -flywheel ? i also used to lighten flywheels mill out to look like 5 spoke wheel so the weight was a little more than pug one ,, it took little time to work out that the tourque curve of the engine was down ,,,, in my t25 so change the flywheel to the standard two without milling any weight off exactly 10 mph better on top speed , so i look`d at pug boxer flywheel and they weight about the same as the ones i get bolted together - minuss vw ring gear _________________ Auto Union Munga Jeep ,T4 2.4td , T4 2.5tdi ,Mercedes S Class on LPG , 66 splity deluxe , GP mk1, 3 type 25s 1 with 1.9dt pug engine + 1 with N/A pug engine ,,there are 6 t25s with pug power in Darlington
