top pic shows brothers tube buggy thats getting peugeot 1.9dt engine , at the rear is my split its sat since march as i've been busy working on other things ,
2nd pic speaks for itself
3rd pic so thats where the put the beam number no wounder never been able to find these before , i allways thought that they were stamped in
4th might not look much but this is me GP MK1 its been in here for more than 10 years , its doing no harm so can keep sitting for afew more , dont know who had the idea of fitting the ford p100 sierra bullbar ,
5th is me nice clean velle bought to take out my 'late' granparents as it has wheelchair hyd lift , had a family trip out down to doncaster couple a week ago , and has just turned 70k miles , i also new the last two owners , could do with lower front panel as this is rusty , one owner hid this out of sight by fitting a ruber strip 4" tall in front rather than to sort it out
6th this pic front thats the high top thats going on another t25 that i'm converting , the bus that its sat on is a mates it had sat in a shed far more than 4 years , i think its been here for nearly 6 , so the overspray on the front wheel must be 10 years old !!!
the deep red one was one i bought cheep from up north was working at Blyth when we pushed it out onto the road the rear wheel n hub came off , bloke had tuck the driveshaft and hub shaft off what a carry on , brought it back on trailer behind me old merc 190
the one at the back is BAD , the rust munchers have had a real good time on this one had the units out many years ago , might put the higtop on the silver velle one day ? _________________ Auto Union Munga Jeep ,T4 2.4td , T4 2.5tdi ,Mercedes S Class on LPG , 66 splity deluxe , GP mk1, 3 type 25s 1 with 1.9dt pug engine + 1 with N/A pug engine ,,there are 6 t25s with pug power in Darlington

, well just looked back and the photo order back to front ar!!!!!! posting
dont waite a few years jp you might mis out and when the odd one turns up for beer mnoney can you resist , that line up of t25's total £450 , the other thing is a t25 can be driven like a sports car of old , they do handle real well , i've pushed them to the limit and its only when you loose them in 3rd gear , you can't get them back 'covin might know this with his 911'
as for rustthey are genraly very good if after 1982 i think the very first were'nt galvanized , other thing is not tax exempt ' i've used them for every day transport for years and realy like the way they drive

That's a nice collection you've got there phil.
I'm with jp on the t25, I'm warming to them and have seen some nice ones, but it's the Tax Exempt thing that wins for me ... Up Gordon Brown, he's not getting road tax of me the robbing git. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people
There's a guy in the Covin club who's also got a really nice t25 with a 2.2 Subaru engine fitted. _________________ DARREN

not many barns like that one. I just dont have the luck to come across such things. A while back a private collection of air cooled was found in switzerland or sweden i think. Beetles, buses etc all mint! It was in a vdub mag so no link.

well youve got a good point about gordon brown there but to be fair running a tax exempt bus or bug as an everyday smoker can be far from practical at times. i was never to keen on t25 buses myself until borrowing 1 of a friend ( i owned a 72 bay at the time) now the bay has gone and ive got three t25's _________________ i really need to start working on my wedgey again!!!

To be honest I can't see how using a Bay as everyday transport could be any less practical than a t25 or any other vehicle for that matter I've even used my Covin right through the winter one year for work, no problem. Although when we had some deep snow for a week or two it was an interesting experience
I agree an Air-Cooled would be crap in the winter, or even the summer but we've all converted to Water-Cooled so not a problem _________________ DARREN

its an interesting arguement covin that im not sure il win lol. T25 is much nicer to drive all round steering, brakes, space, etc. Plus they do handle better than a lot of small cars seen pug td t25 blow corsa sports and xr2's off before today(i no they are hardly rocket ships but for a vehicle double the size and weight it says something) , you ask phil lol! _________________ i really need to start working on my wedgey again!!!

Yep a Valid Point m8... I agree the T25 will probably be much nicer and more refined to drive but as with all vehicles things can always be improved to enhance handling etc. I'll stick to my origonal reason.
