Sorry to but in on this thread but where have you mounted your chargecooler rad familyvan ? and will you have the pump running all the time ? I ask as I think I read that the scooby charger cooler pumps only fire up when you boot it ! I may have imagined this though.

cheers

I have a Renault 5 Turbo Charge Cooler. The rad is mounted underneath the side doors and has a scoop system fitted to it just like the main rad system

Since everybody has been so helpful here is my nxt problem

This is the water pump from the renault 5.

Which way does the water flow???

does the water flow fom right to left or left to right???

Right which way should i plumb this in .

I know the picture is on its side so bear with me.

On the Charge Cooler there is pipes top right bottom Left.

On the water bottle top and bottom.

Then obviously there is the feed to and from the Radiator...

What is the best way to plumb it together.

I was Thinking

Bottom of Charge cooler- pump-Radiator-Top of water bottle- out bottom of bottle into top of Charge Cooler.

The only down side is comming out of the water botle into the charge cooler the water has to go up slighty.

Centripetal pumps usually suck it in at the middle and spit it out at the outside. So the hose with the "Heater hose" is prolly the outlet.
