got the engine, adaptor plate and loom as a kit about 6 months ago. want to start the conversion soon, need to know how much loom to use and what goes where (the bits that dont have plugs on the ends) etc. i need the engine mount brackets (not the rubbers but the actual brackets that fasten to the engine). is there anything i need to watch out for or is good to know?

Oooooh sounds nice-Jerry69 has a V6 in his and would certinly be able to help. I have a ford 1.8D so not much help I'm afraid-It was quite easy for me to separate the necessary bits out from the loom as there are only about 6 wires for the diesel.

There are a few guys running modern ford engines in Bajas they said they just turned the engine on and started cutting wires-if the engine stoped they soldered it back together and carryied on snipping until they had gone through the loom.

Got any pictures fella?
