Anyone know which clutch spigot bearing I need to use for my conversion?
I'm using a 1600 bay box and a vw 1.9TD (AAZ from 1993-ish).
GSF have two spigot bearings listed 02280(8/84-6/90), and 02283(6/90-11/90), what's the difference?
My conversion is going quite well so far, AAZ into 68 bus.
The engine fits pretty well using the standard T25 diesel bellhousing at 50 degrees, I've modified the starter motor so that the solenoid hangs down so I don't have to put a bash in the fuel tank! So far so good.
Cheers

i used one from a audi 80 1.9 td with the aaz engine in but gsf told me it was the same part as the t25 can't see why there would be any different part numbers as all cranks are the same inside diameter and all the gearbox input shafts are the same outside diameter only thing i can think of is some spigot bearings have a rubber greese seal on the outer edge some don't,so get a audi one

Hi,
thanks for that.
That's exactly the same conclusion I came up with.
Cheers
