Coverting 1984 VW t25, 1.6 Diesel , 5 speed to Subaru EJ201 MY99. Non turbo.
Costs for 2019 below. Started looking 29th May 2019, engine in and running 3rd November 2019.
Sourced engine from ebay.co.uk, seller imprezabreaker . very helpful.

Requested as per www.rjes.com website all below along with engine.
Mount rubbers, complete with nuts and washers to attach to crossmember
Flywheel
Clutch pressure plate (Did not use as bought new from RJES)
Clutch release bearing (Did not use as bought new from RJES)
Alternator, including wiring with alternator connectors.
Clutch inspection hole cover
Power steering pump bracket if pump not to be supplied (needed for alternator belt tensioner)
All bellhousing to engine bolts, from the same engine
Engine harness
Lambda sensor
Starter Motor from a manual Subaru
Exhaust header
Engine ECU
Chassis Harness from behind dash
Cluster of three relays on a steel bracket behind the dash. One always has a green connector
Electronic ignition module (small black box attached to the centre of the bulkhead, just above the gearbox) - not fitted to 1999 onwards models, as coils fired directly from the ECU.
Immobiliser:transponder ECU, ignition barrel antenna, key

I completely changed out the diesel fuel system for Petrol from a T3 fuel injection model as advised by rjes from www.brickwerks.co.uk, again really helpful and great customer service

The loom from Richard Jones was plug and play and although no instructions, I only managed to mix 1 plug up which got me very worried that the imobiliser was not all matched but found the error of my ways when right hand side ligh fuse kept blowing and I traced back and engine started after only 3 cranks and runs a treat.
I now just need to get an exhaust, any tips? Looks like will be paying close to £950 for one.
