Hello,
Can anyone recommend a company who can make me up a wiring loom for my 1800d Ford Engine? I am going completely mad and really getting quite down about not being able to sort it.
Problem i have is the engine has an ECU and I do not have the full wiring loom from the Ford....
That is unless anyone fancies helping me out with it? I am up nr Hinckley in Leicestershire.
Wishing I left in the 1600 Air Cooled

I'm afraid I cant offer much help as mine is a non ecu so the wireing was very simple.
But I have heard that there are quite a few zetecs in the baja scein-I spoke to a guy about one and how he sort his wiring- he said that he just turned the engine on in the donner car and then started cutting wires, if the engine stopped he soldered the wire back together and then tried another until he had been through them all. Dont know if you can find a running car in the scrap yard and try the same aproach-most scrap yards have all the keys for the cars saved in the office. _________________ www.faltownskateboards.com |

right i am getting somewhere now, if not going backwards slightly....
I have been informed that i do not need to use the ECU and therefore the EGR, Flywheel sensor and throttle position sensor are redundant.
The only thing i now need to figure out is what the 3 wires do that come out of the injection pump.... any ideas?? I beleive two may be for the immobiliser and the other for the 12v feed.
Hopefully i have someone getting the Ford wiring diagrams for it, but i am impatient as usual!
regards
