Has anyone on here fitted a 1.9 TDi from a 90's golf to a T25 and kept the fly by wire throttle?
Have you got any piccies to show?

I know it can be done as Michael Ghia has one on his 5 cylinder audi tdi engined syncro Limey.
Some of his piccies.
Modified (arm cut and reshaped) throttle pedal from a 2000ish audi or vw.

Holes drilled for mounts.

Rivnuts installed.

Pedal installed.

Not sure if it would still fit the same on a RHD car.

i've fitted tdi's to my split bay and t25 keeping them all flyby wire but have used the mk3 golf parts which has a seperate pedal and throttle pot with a 1" long cable inbetween. i have used the original van cable to pull the tdi throttle pot and mounted on a bracket on the body. the integrated pedal/potentiometer in the photo looks like its of a mk4 golf which are a different engine management type 121 pin pdi/sdi rather than 68 pin rotary pump type systems of the earlier engine so becareful of different resistances and incompatiblity

That pedal is indeed off a later tdi with the 120pin ECU.
The earlier pedals with seaparate potentiometer do look like the easier option but how do you keep them dry? Don't suppose they'd like getting too wet.

I found these piccies.

Happy some people either fit them in the engine compartment / above the gearbox / under front or rear seat?
