water thingy on oilfilter

just a quick question, what am i supossed to do with the pipes on the oil filter can these go into the expansion tank or just blanked off?

Hi , there should be a pipe below the stat housing that goes down to the oil cooler -the other can connect up to the heater return then into expansion bottle , a pipe connected on the bottom of expansion bottle will go round to the water pump ,
