When you chop (shorten) your wiring loom, turn off your phone.
You might forget to connect a coupla wires after that call
2 hrs after wrapping it it was all bare again. Fortunately I found the wires I missed - IGN ON to the fuel pump & coil.

So that was another 2 hrs work, not including disconnecting everything.

Will be posting some pictures of the short loom in the next few days.

Advice: Shorten, loose tape it, bung in, check, wrap properly.

When it goes for an MoT I shall take pictures of the rad and pipework.
