just to let every1 no i recently purchased a pug conversion kit of a chap called fil thompson. He is a spot on bloke who invited me for a drive of 1 of his vans already converted to pug power i was so impressed i bought a kit fitted to my 86 t25 and have been well impressed with the care free motoring for the last 7months and the difference in speed is unreal!!! my advice to all you t25 owners is to get!

not the first time ive heard this about phils conversions....glad to see he has finally registered on here too - besides the requests on the forums JP and I get a fiar bit of email asking questions about converting to diesel....it would be good if we could get Phil to stick an advert up like RJES have over on the right as until now hes been pretty hard to get in touch with.....maybe you could refer him to this...

, now all yes wont forget youthy giblets grin when i took him out in my t25 with pug d turbo engine , his grin was ear to ear , ,


, went to york drag race ,, mini v VWs ,, there was not many vdubs there and were asking if anyone else would join in ,, so i took my mates t25 pug d turbo ( with 180k miles on engine at time its on nearly 220k now!!! he only goes steady ) down the track as he had gon to the lakes in me pug bay ,, well when not used to whear`ing a helmet , and not been able to hear the engine ,, made it hard work ,, that said 17.6 secs at 71mph ,, not bad seen as it had camper trim ,, i could only take his toolbox and 5gal water drum out to reduce wieght ,, about half way down the strip i heard the mini grate his gears so beet him by a good bit ,, bus was running stadard vw wheels and tyres ,, would be better if were a bit bigger to get the turbo working more
