1.6d is being replaced. A few Q's

It's time.
My love affair with the 1.6d is on the rocks.
I've hade a 1.6d n/a in a few cars over years.
Mk1 Golfs, Mk1 Golf Vans., Mk2 Golfs. T25.
It's a lovely engine really. An engine that was a breakthrough in its day.
A guy in America runs a turbo version in his Porsche 356.
So in a small car. Driven easy. It is a MPG wet dream.

It's a sad end.
It's just a little slow for a fully loaded Campervan.
I will keep it and give it some love as the time passes.
Maybe fit it to something different.
So for now it's bye bye baby.

Anyway.
I have a 1.9td aaz under the bench waiting to get some action.
It was rescued from a passat that was destined for the crusher.
Apparently it had been rebuilt only 40,000 miles previous.

My split has the whole rear running gear out of a 1.6d T25 grafted on.
My plan is to whip out the 1.6d and G'box and bolt on the 1.9td aaz onto my diesel T25 G'box and install it pretty much at the angle it would be in a golf or passat.
IE. not at the 50 degree angle that the 1.6d is fitted in a T25.

I couldn't be bothered doing all the modifications to change the 1.6d engine bits over to the 1.9td.
I'd rather make new mounts for the new engine.

A few Questions:

Will the 1.9td bolt straight to the T25 Gearbox.?

Do I need to change the Clutch to a T25 one ?

Apart from obvious height increase. (Already have a hatch cut out)
Is there any harm in bolting the Aaz to the Gearbox at the new angle. ?

it would be easyer to swap the parts from the 16 to 19 and bolting in that way.
ive done a couple of upright engines in the past the bellhousing/ adapter will be needed i have made adapter and used petrol t3 bellhousing in the past.
the gearbox ratios of a 16na box are not much good with and aaz my last aaz van had a 2.1 aap box and taller tyres to get the ratio down.
