Nice one jp . . .
It's good to see you used the "Chop out the front end" method to ease engine removal.... Brings back memories Grin

Hello looks like you got a good looking motor there , if you got a 2.0 bay engine suport bar would work well with the shape of that sump , (the pug sump is flat nearly right through no big pan ) will you be fitting an intercooler . some foke think by fitting one gives them all this extre bhp , but thats only if its cooled as it would be on a car 'at the front ' so if say you fix one to the front and ran pipes under bus would you then suffer turbo lag
and pics of that spit looks well nice would make room for that anyday brothers got range rover for breaking , still drives

Tiz a bit of a strange sump on that sierra different to the other 2 diesel engines I have
I will be intercooling it Grin and have a Mittsbisihi shogun intercooler which has a fan attached which should drag some extra air through hopefully (cheers to Covin for the shogun tip off ) The intercooler needs to be as close to the turbo as poss to reduce lag and I intend to mount it in the spare battery compartment sealed in for max air flow from vents... and it's at this point that Rich will pipe up about fitting a charge cooler

From what I've been reading with a few turns of various screws on the injector you can achieve 110bhp !

Artical on it here

Hello thats the intercooler i've been using on my past t25s ,i keep hold of it ready for the next one , just need to sort out some more pipes for the one its going on now , sorting it on the 25th nov sat , with a bit of luck then get it down for test
remember to wire fan through relay , if not it can burn out temp censor

as for turbo lag yes its always best to keep close to engine , the t25 i'm on with at the moment , put 205 dt inlet manifold on , so no pipes go over the top of engine just so it looks neat , so what i've had to do istake the turbo to bits and rotate the pressure side so that the pipes can fit better once up an running i'll maybe try one at the front to see if it creates lag

I've just swapped the inlet manifold off my non turbo 1.9 cos the ZX Volcane model inlet manifold reaches over the gearbox. They could have designed it better with us in mind couldn't they?

Hello what manifold you used then ,
thinking of putting my intercooler just in front of driveshaft found some pipe from damaged alloy scafold tower just need to use wide clamps with self taper screws going through clamps n hose n into alloy tube ,this then stops the pipes blowing off , once happy with the right place might get the proper pipes
