Top work on that interior I'd be well happy with that... did you make it all from scratch ?

Enjoy a well desevered break over the summer.. ready for the real fun to begin over the winter

What's the plan with that other bus you had ? you still gonna save it ?

Cheers m8, I could really do with a rest to be honest, knackered is an understaitment help
Made all the interior from scratch and just made it up as I went along, didn't even make a drawing, it just sort of happened as more bits were added.

Still going to save the other Bus and work should be starting in a few weeks time with a bit of luck. Should be fun eh ?

Managed to sort out the brake calipers today but ended up having to make an oversized Nipple on the lathe to sort out the drives side caliper.
Could really do with a new pair of calipers in the near future. They work spot on now though and the old flexi hoses were blocked solid inside when I cut them open. No wonder the brakes were sticking on and binding . . . .
I'd recomend changing your old flexi hoses but be prepared for a saga if your bleed nipples are rusted because there's no way they'll come out

Hello Yoo Hoo . . . . I'm still alive and full of busy. Currently restoring my mates Rotten Bus and a VW T3 Fasty so not much spare time at the moment to work on my own Bus. Got a 66 Bug coming my way soon which I'm going to restore for my Wife and another guy wants me to do a full resto job on his 67 Beetle Eeeek Talk about busy ?
----------------------------------------------
Thought I'd share a few pics of Camping trips I've done in the Bus since getting it finished and on the road. Just to show it's being used Grin

My m8 did this Video clip of us leaving the Newark show on the Buses maiden voyage of 320 mile round trip Eeeek No worries Cool

MOWER POWER IN ACTION Laugh Out Loud

Blackwell Plantation in Derbyshire

Grinlow in Derbyshire

Durham Dubbers Club Camping Trip Fallowfield Dene Hexham Northumberland

There's been quite a few more but pictures were naff, already covered a few thousand trouble free miles in the Mower powered Bus. Missed out a little 6 cylinder Cosworth motor a few weeks ago. Gutted was not the word Plenty of time though and another will turn up I'm sure Wink

I'm planning another Camping trip in November so it might be a bit chilly. It's cold up North you know
