Has anyone tried an isuzu 1.7 turbo diesel into a 74 ish bay? i,ve got a 95 cavalier 1.7td(isuzu engine) with230,000 miles on it, and it still goes like new.
I,ve also got a 74 westy that leaks oil everywhere, does about 10 to the gallon, and rattles like a bag of spanners!
if anyone has tried the above, how easy was it to do?, how successful is it?
& most important can anyone give me some technical advice? |

i think they are a simple diesel so wirings not a prob and i'm sure if you need pointers the main chat forums above will shed the light they will have ideas on where to get the adapter plate for it as well i cant remmber some of the companies of the top of my head but
start it and shove it in and then ask for help as problems arise
it may start off a bit messy but it can allways be tidyed up
have a go and have some fun
(edited due to origonally being drunk when I wrote it the first time)
