merc 5.0L into t25 ?

well i'm off to look at a mercedes 5L ,, V8 auto with the intension of using the engine box and rear dif in a t25 crewcab ''mid engine'd '' 350 Din / 450 SAE HP ,,,,,, in the merc that is 1620 KG she does upto 140mph ,, think this engine will be like the 450 with a dry sump , so are quite compact ,, its also Kjet injection

what do think of this idea

would this increase the doca's value

or do i just put in another peugeot td lump

not sure about the value Phil as still epople seem hesitant about conversions over original power....nevertheless it sounds like an F in brilliant idea!!!!!! please buy it so I can watch you build it

well i've had a look ,,, and the car is in realy good condition , can stand 2 pence on edge on the engine at tic over,,, its that smooth ,,, only down side is its EFI but looks simple enough , just after see if i can get it at the right price

if you don't fancy a 5.0l there is a big merc (230 i think) round the corner from me sat in a field.

3.0 v6 twin-turbo

he's after 500 quid, we might yet get it for next years scumball rally, but would be a fearsome motor in a doka
